Litochap's management:

 Openly declares itself against any act of corruption, bribery and/or fraudulent business practices. They therefore state that:

  • - Managers and employees cannot carry out corrupt actions for their own benefit, this would constitute a breach in the duties of their position or contract with the company, and would cause damage to it.
  • - Bribery cannot be accepted nor offered, extortion cannot be attempted
  • - Litochap SL wants to comply with all national and international laws, it therefore strictly bans any kind of active or passive corruption within the company, whatever are the origin, the destination or the amount
  • - It is explicitly forbidden to make gifts, payments, tips, services, commissions, etc., which could be interpreted as a violation or an attempt to violate the honesty and independence of judgement of the recipient or which could damage the reputation of the company.
  • - It is explicitly forbidden to receive gifts, payments, commisions, etc., whatever their origin is. If a staff member has to accept a gift, he always has to acknowledge receipt of it in the name of the company and will be given to the the designated person, who will make an appropriate use of it (raffle among all staff or donation to a charity).
  • - The acceptance of small gifts will be authorised, if necessary, for reasons of courtesy and for the normal development of business relations, provided that they are in compliance with the law, do not suggest a compensation on the part of the recipient, nor can it creates difficult situations for the company. Examples of this kind of gift are: food, soft drinks, occasional meals, invitations to musical events, sports, etc., cheap promotional items, gift for recognition of assistance services, payment of expenses on behalf of the client (invitations), etc. These gifts will always be accepted in the name of the company and will be communicated to it.
  • - The collection or payment of commissions that are legal and normal, established by contract, in intermediation operations will be accepted. As long as the company authorizes them and they cannot cause problems.
  • - “Facilitation payments" such as tips to expedite an order or a payment are prohibited.
  • - All expenses must be approved and reviewed by the company's management. The approval of expenses (including attention to clients, travel expenses, etc.), will always be done with the appropriate documentary support (invoices, receipts, tickets...).
  • - All the company's operations that involve collections and payments will be faithfully, orderly and punctually collected in the company's accounts.
  • - The criteria for the selection of suppliers will always be within the law and on an equal footing to avoid any preferential treatment. No bribe or gift will be accepted to force the selection of a supplier.
  • - The criteria to follow with the customers to get a new account or a new order will also follow the legal courses. Any attempt of bribery, extortion or gift is prohibited.
  • - Any act of corruption, bribery and/or fraudulent business practice must be reported immediately to the management of the company so that the appropriate corrective actions can be undertaken, for this purpose an email adress is available:

The company considers that human rights, defined in the "Universal Declaration of Human Rights" by the UN (, They are a fundamental pillar of society, therefore it undertakes to follow the guidelines indicated in its guide entitled "Guiding principles on companies and human rights", to "protect, respect and remedy".

They advocate a healthy and transparent working environment. This is why they are totally against any abusive attitude and/or treatment among their employees. Therefore, two different channels have been developed so that anyone who is a victim of humiliating and/or abusive treatment can report it anonymously and the company can take the necessary actions to put an end to it. These can be communicated either by email to or through the suggestion box located in the production area.

The director of Litochap S.L. is appointed as Responsible for Business Ethics Policies. His functions are to implement Standards related to business ethics, as well as to verify compliance with ethical issues, recommend solutions and verify compliance with them.
